Whole Foods Market is set to open the doors of its newest store in Parker on October 9, 2025, bringing more than 700 products sourced from over 115 Colorado-based suppliers to the community.
Located at 8665 Kings Point Way, the new location spans approximately 40,000 square feet. It represents both an expansion in Whole Foods’ local presence and a collaboration with a suite of regional construction, design, and development partners.
To bring this project to life, Whole Foods is working closely with several key partners:
- Galloway & Company and BRR Architecture serve as the architecture and civil engineering firms.
- Kings Point Retail, LLC is the client/developer behind the site development and overall project leadership.
- Waner Construction is the general contractor
- The Town of Parker is a collaborating partner in site amenities, including public seating areas, canopies, and art installations.
Whole Foods’ press release highlights several features of the new store, including:
- A broad selection of natural, organic, and local products, with over 115 local suppliers providing more than 700 items from Colorado.
- Full specialty departments: produce, prepared foods, bakery, meat and seafood, all designed per Whole Foods’ typical store layout and quality standards
Construction timeline:
- Construction officially began in November 2023 and was initially slated for completion by August 2024 for certain design and infrastructure elements.
- While some exterior and site work—including utilities, drainage, and channel redesign—have been underway, the final finishing, interior setup, and stocking are expected to carry through until just before the opening in October 2025.
This new Whole Foods store not only adds a high-end grocery option for residents of Parker and neighboring communities, but also contributes to the local economy through jobs (from construction through retail operations), increased visibility for local suppliers, and enhanced community spaces.
