The Stockman, Auberge Collection Launches Sales

The Stockman, Auberge Collection

The Stockman, Auberge Collection has commenced sales for its limited collection of ski-in, ski-out residences at Steamboat Resort. Since unveiling earlier this year, over $90 million has been placed under contract at The Stockman, Auberge Collection within the first 60 days of its soft launch, including three of the project’s signature Barn residences. This showcases exceptional early momentum and establishes a new benchmark for sales in Steamboat Springs, signaling a growing demand for a new caliber of residential offering.

Developed by Stockman Development LLC, led by Marquee Development, the nine-story slopeside development will include 95 private residences and 59 hotel guest rooms and suites, introducing a new slopeside, base-area residential offering in Steamboat Springs. The Stockman, Auberge Collection, builds on the destination’s continued evolution following the Steamboat Resort’s transformative $220 million Full Steam Ahead initiative, which has made it one of the leading luxury mountain experiences.

“The response we’ve seen in such a short period of time reinforces what many of us have believed for years,” said Eric Nordness, managing principal of Marquee Development. “Steamboat has earned its place among North America’s most desirable mountain destinations because it has never lost sight of what makes it unique. With The Stockman, we set out to create a project that reflects the quality and sophistication of the world’s leading resort communities while staying true to the character and authenticity that define Steamboat.”

Designed by OZ Architecture with interiors by Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects, The Stockman reflects Steamboat Springs’ heritage through a contemporary architectural approach rooted in natural materials, clean lines, and landscape-conscious detailing. A warm palette of locally sourced stone, wood, steel, and expansive glass grounds the property in its environment, while sustainable features include a solar-ready roof, geothermal-ready systems, and weather-conscious detailing for year-round use.

Residences range from studios and one-bedroom homes to expansive five-bedroom penthouses, intentionally creating opportunities for a broad buyer audience, from first-time mountain homeowners and seasonal residents to multi-generational families seeking a legacy retreat in Steamboat. The collection includes the project’s signature rooftop “barn” homes inspired by the silhouettes of traditional valley ranches and featuring double-height ceilings, expansive terraces, and long, open views of the surrounding peaks. Pricing begins at $1.6 million.

“The pace of sales at The Stockman is unlike anything we’ve seen in Steamboat’s luxury residential market,” said Steve Roney, Founder of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Intermountain Properties. “Buyers recognize that opportunities of this caliber rarely come to this market. The combination of a globally recognized brand, true ski-in ski-out access, and the continued transformation of the resort has created a level of demand that speaks volumes about where the market is headed.”

The Stockman, Auberge Collection, located at 1965 Ski Time Square Drive, is expected to open in 2030, with both hotel and residences delivered simultaneously.
