The Ranch Events Complex, Northern Colorado’s largest and most versatile event venue, has selected Flintco as its construction partner to help advance several projects included in the campus’s long-term Master Plan.
Following a competitive request for proposals process, Flintco, a national commercial construction firm with a Colorado office in Lone Tree, will work with The Ranch as Phase II projects move through planning and preconstruction.
“Selecting Flintco marks an important step forward in carrying The Ranch’s next chapter from vision into reality,” said Conor McGrath, managing director of The Ranch.
Located in Loveland, The Ranch Events Complex has long served as a gathering place for Northern Colorado, hosting concerts, sporting events, the Larimer County Fair and Rodeo, community events and other activities. The Master Plan is intended to guide future growth and investment while preserving the campus’s existing traditions and community role.
Flintco brings more than 118 years of commercial construction experience and a portfolio that includes large-scale sports, entertainment and public assembly projects. The company’s regional experience and Colorado presence were among the factors supporting its selection for the work ahead.
The Ranch said Phase II construction will be carefully phased to allow the active campus to remain open while minimizing disruptions to events, daily operations and community use.
“The vision of the community eventually experiencing the elements of this project that various stakeholders contributed to along the way is something extremely fulfilling,” said J.W. Stamison, Flintco vice president and area manager.
The Ranch Master Plan includes projects designed to improve the guest experience, support larger and more diverse events, expand recreational opportunities, strengthen tourism and support the campus’s long-term sustainability.
Future improvements include an outdoor amphitheater and other gathering and event spaces. Final project designs, costs, timelines, capacities and locations remain subject to change as planning and design continue.

In 2017, Larimer County voters approved continued investment in The Ranch through a 0.15% sales and use tax to support the long-term improvement, operation and future of the campus.
The Ranch said Master Plan projects are expected to advance over the next several years.
