The Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC/C) commended its members’ commitments to workplace safety and environmental excellence at the AGC/C Virtual Breakfast with the Board and Safety and Environmental Awards on July 28, with over 75 construction industry professionals to honor winners in three different categories of awards that were commemorated in a video shown to participants online at the event.

“Safety has always been paramount in the construction industry, but these past 19 months have reinforced how critical safety practices are, both on and off the jobsite,” commented Bradley J. Gassman, safety and environmental director at AGC of Colorado. “We commend all of these construction firms who have consistently committed to exceeding safety and environmental expectations to protect not only their employees but also to protect the surrounding communities that benefit from local construction projects.”

The Willis Tower Watson Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) are usually presented to Colorado construction firms that participate in this award process at the Associated General Contractors of America National Convention. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 initial judging took place June 2 – 3, 2021, and final judging is scheduled for September 19 – 22 with the Award Breakfast on September 23.
