Ascent Union Station: Construction Update

DENVER – Construction for one of Union Station’s most anticipated developments, Greystar’s Ascent Union Station, began back in April 2017. Contractor Milender White recently completed concrete work on the 3rd elevated floor and the completion of all structured parking. Leasing begins in the Autumn of 2019.

The Mulhern Group, an award-winning Denver-based architecture firm, designed the 14 story mixed-use project, located between 19th and 20th Streets and Wewatta Street and Chestnut Place, that features 3,500 square feet of retail and 164 luxury apartments. The project sits adjacent to the Elan Union Station, also developed by Greystar, completed in 2015.

The residences will average 1,400 square feet and the penthouse is to include 4-2 story units.  State of the art amenities include a rooftop terrace and pool that overlooks Union Station and downtown. The property will also feature 7,000 square feet of amenities and a separate rooftop pool and terrace with feature an 8,000 deck, outdoor kitchen, and multiple outdoor seating areas with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. The rooftop will also feature a sky lounge with demonstration kitchen with a back of house kitchen for staging, and a full-size dining room.
