Chicken N Pickle Expands Vision with Strategic Growth Shift

With a new location in the Denver suburb of Thornton, Chicken N Pickle, the nationally recognized indoor/outdoor entertainment complex known for its chef-driven restaurant, pickleball courts, and lively community atmosphere, has announced a strategic evolution in its growth plan.

With 13 locations operating across the country, the brand is shifting its focus toward acquiring complementary entertainment and hospitality concepts, as well as exploring city partnerships to build public pickleball court facilities–with particular emphasis on key growth markets such as Houston, Phoenix, and Denver.

In 2023, Chicken N Pickle announced a new Colorado location in Parker, Colorado.

“While previously announced locations, like Parker, Colorado, may remain in our future pipeline, we are taking a more intentional approach in response to rising construction costs, supply chain volatility, and shifting market dynamics,” says Chicken N Pickle’s President Kelli Alldredge. “This strategy allows us to scale with greater flexibility while remaining focused on delivering the fun, food, and community our guests love.”

Rising construction costs and uncertainty surrounding international economic headwinds have played a role in the shift, but the brand’s optimism remains high as it re-evaluates its previously announced new locations and continues to sharpen the Chicken N Pickle prototype for future locations.

Backed by NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Chicken N Pickle is the fastest-growing pickleball entertainment concept in the country, and President Kelli Alldredge notes that the company’s continued success will be built not only through square footage, but also through smart, scalable decisions that extend the brand’s reach.

Established in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2016, the company has expanded to Wichita, Kansas; San Antonio, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Overland Park, Kansas; Grand Prairie, Texas; Grapevine, Texas; Glendale, Arizona, St. Charles, Missouri; Webster, Texas; Henderson, Nevada; Allen, Texas; and Thornton, Colorado.
