Colorado Disaster Restoration Acquired by HRS Restoration Services

HRS Restoration Services, a full-service mitigation and restoration company and division of Haselden Construction, has acquired Colorado Disaster Restoration (CDR), an emergency service company that specializes in environmental and bio-hazard clean up services for commercial and residential properties.

“The CDR team is excited to bring our more than 60 years of combined disaster restoration expertise to HRS,” said Tim McNutt, HRS’ new vice president of business development and former CDR president. “Combining the background and skills of both companies will allow us to expand service offerings to deliver world-class disaster restoration to clients in Colorado and beyond.”

Since July 2019, the two companies had been successfully working together in Colorado as part of a partnership to offer professional services in water and fire damage mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and biological hazard clean-up. This acquisition will provide opportunities for HRS to expand into new markets; maximize synergies that exist between restoration, self-perform, and on-call; and provide additional avenues for employee career growth.

“Colorado Disaster Restoration and HRS share the same, unmatched commitment to provide exceptional service to clients,” said Derek Oliver, president of HRS. “Over the past 18 months, we’ve gotten to know the CDR team and see firsthand how much they care about their clients, employees and quality of work. The extensive experience and breadth of knowledge that CDR is bringing to HRS Restoration Services will only make HRS a stronger, more robust company.”
