Denver, CO – Confluent Development announced the addition of Randy Coakley, the firm’s Chicago-based vice president of real estate, and Mitchell Menashe as a real estate manager in the firm’s Denver office. The hires represent the firm’s expanded presence into the Chicago and Midwest markets as well as the focused growth of the firm’s retail development team in Denver.
As vice president of real estate, Coakley will office out of Chicago and is responsible for Confluent Development’s retail-focused development strategy, leading the company’s team and growth in this sector. With more than 20 years of development and construction experience, Coakley’s industry success with single-tenant net lease properties led to the delivery of more than 60 Walgreens properties and five Chase Bank properties within the Midwest and southeastern United States.
As real estate manager, Menashe’s responsibilities will include site acquisition, conceptual planning, project underwriting and client relationship management for the firm’s retail development team. Menashe previously served on the acquisitions and development team at Verdad Real Estate, delivering build-to-suit projects for clients including Starbucks, Popeyes and Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr., among others. He recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Denver.
“The growth of our retail team is a strategic focus for the firm, with Randy enhancing the industry expertise we are able to offer our clients,” said Marshall Burton, president and CEO of Confluent Development. “The strong relationships that Randy has built with his clients are synonymous with how our firm develops partnerships, and we are thrilled to have a leader dedicated to the core philosophies of our team while guiding our retail efforts.”
