Cypress Equity Investments (CEI), a national multifamily developer headquartered in Los Angeles, has launched a new regional headquarters in Denver at The Circa Building, located at 1615 Platte St, Suite 200. The developer has hired local industry leader Beau Breck as senior vice president to lead the Denver office. CEI’s Denver team is nearing completion on Revel, a 300-residence apartment community located near the 2nd Ave. & Abilene Station on Denver RTD’s R light rail line in Aurora and is looking to expand its presence in the fast-growing region.

“Denver is a natural fit for us with its growing and diversified economy, booming population, and strong market dynamics,” stated Sorochinsky. “And credit to Beau’s team, as progress on Revel, our first Denver area multifamily development in Aurora, has been extremely smooth. We look forward to his team expanding upon this initial success and delivering long-term growth for CEI in the region,” he added.

A Denver resident since 2003, Breck brings more than 10 years of local multifamily development experience to his position of Senior Vice President. As the on-the-ground leader in the greater Mountain Region, Breck spearheads CEI’s development activities including acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, project capitalization, and dispositions. Joining Breck in Colorado is Justin Zuckerman who has been brought on as the firm’s new Vice President of Construction for greater Colorado.

“I am thrilled to be joining CEI and for the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s growth in Colorado and the Mountain Region,” stated Breck. “There is no rest with this group, as they analyze opportunities, conduct due diligence, and work in partnership with communities to deliver best-in-class residences. The firm’s entrepreneurial spirit, as well as its commitment to integrity, sustainability, and the markets in which they invest are truly meaningful. I was attracted to CEI’s goals and vision for the greater Mountain Region and wanted to be a part of it.”

Prior to joining CEI, Breck spent seven years at Denver-based LCP Development, a privately held, Denver-based development and property management company specializing in mixed-use, infill development and redevelopment and property management, including the development of more than 500 apartments. Zuckerman most recently was senior project manager at CO Construction Management in New York City.

CEI is an established national investor and developer of sustainable, institutional-quality multifamily communities in top-tier markets throughout the United States. In addition to the nearly completed Revel apartment community, CEI’s Denver regional office is in negotiations on additional multifamily sites across Colorado.
