The Denver City Council has unanimously approved rezonings for two sites on Elati Street and Delaware Street, also known as Denver’s “Fox Island,” near the 41st and Fox rail station, which will serve the G Line.
Zoning will now allow for construction up to eight floors for residential and commercial uses on the vacant industrial lot. The owners are reportedly hoping for a “compact, mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented development.”
Ascendant and Woodspear Properties also own 41 acres in the same area. They are planning to sell the site to developers specializing in horizontal and mixed-use development.
