Denver’s iconic Oxford Hotel has been named to the Travel + Leisure “T+L 500” list as one of the best hotels in the world for 2025.
Located in the heart of the LoDo neighborhood, The Oxford is proud to be Denver’s most historic hotel, originally opened in 1891 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Offering 80 luxurious guest rooms, The Oxford partners with a variety of local businesses to curate unique guest experiences that showcase the Mile High City. The Oxford All That Jazz offer includes an in-room vinyl record player, dinner, and live jazz at the renowned Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club. Or enjoy an overnight stay with a tour and tasting experience at Denver’s Laws Whiskey House Distillery, with a bottle of Laws Single Barrel Label 4 Grain Bourbon to take home.
“The Oxford offers the perfect combination of timeless elegance and modern luxury, and we are thrilled to have once again earned this honor from Travel + Leisure,” said Ed Blair, the area general manager overseeing The Oxford Hotel. “We love sharing The Oxford’s history with guests and helping them to truly appreciate the little details that make this hotel so extraordinary – from the original wrought iron to the wood-burning fireplace in the lobby. We believe that you cannot build history and the Oxford is full of rich stories and a unique heart and soul.”
Guests of The Oxford can dine at Urban Farmer Denver, a modern farm-to-table steakhouse that mixes local and responsibly sourced ingredients with a down-to-earth soul, and enjoy cocktails at The Cruise Room, Denver’s quintessential martini bar that originally opened on the day Prohibition ended in 1933. The Oxford Spa offers a complete menu of relaxing spa services, including massage, body treatments and facials, along with a full-service salon. The Oxford Club features extensive cardio and strength training equipment and a robust schedule of group exercise classes, including yoga, barre and movement.
The Oxford also hosts an extensive schedule of nightly lobby activations for guests to enjoy, including the complimentary daily Bourbon Hour, local live music, art pop-ups and more.
The full T+L 500 list will be published in the May issue of Travel + Leisure. Select highlights of the list will be found at travelandleisure.com.
