DIA Receives Engineering News-Record Mountain States Best Project Award

Denver International Airport (DEN) has been recognized by Engineering News-Record (ENR) Mountain States for the Concourses B East & C East Expansion projects.

A panel of judges from all areas of the industry reviewed around 100 entries in a variety of categories, examining factors such as safety, innovation, craft quality and community or industry benefit. Winning projects will be covered in more detail in the Nov. 27 issue of ENR Mountain States.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by ENR Mountain States for our Concourses B East & C East Expansion projects,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team members, who worked tirelessly to ensure these projects provided the best possible experience for our customers.”

The Concourses B East & C East Expansion projects were completed in 2022 and included the addition of 23 gates, part of the larger 39 new gates for the overall Concourse Expansion Program, new concessions and expanded passenger amenities, features designed to improve the passenger experience and increase capacity for future growth.
