Denver, CO – The U.S. Green Building Council Colorado (USGBC Colorado) hosted their year-end ‘Colorado Community Celebration‘ last week on December 15, 2016 at the offices of Holland & Hart, LLP, a long-time supporter of USGBC Colorado. Instead of commemorating the year’s best building projects, Director, Patti Mason, recognized the people that made an impact on the chapter over the past year.
Personalized, custom-awards were distributed to the following individuals:
– Greenest Apple, Kate Hamblet, KEPHART Architecture
– Local Leader, Jeff Wong, TRC Companies
– Mountain Mover, Mandy Redfield, ME GROUP
– Board Member of the Year, Evan Randall, Holland & Hart
The Colorado chapter sustained several changes this year, which Patti coined as a ‘Renaissance’. The most significant change included the chapter’s official joining of forces, so to speak, with the national U.S. Green Building Council. USGBC Colorado now has increased its resources and outreach efforts with the support of the national chapter.
