Four Seasons is expanding its branded residential presence in Colorado with plans for 42 luxury residences at 215 Detroit Street in Cherry Creek, marking the hospitality company’s first standalone residential project in the state.
The development, named Cherry Creek, A Four Seasons Private Residence, is being advanced through a partnership with 215 Detroit Street Cherry Creek Property LLC, a consortium comprising Wexford Real Estate Investors, Stillwater Capital, Zabel Investment, and Denver-based Brue Baukol.
The eight-story building will feature 42 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences ranging from 1,260 to 6,000 square feet. The project is designed to combine private residential living with the concierge and hospitality services associated with the Four Seasons brand.
Global architecture firm 10 Design is leading the architectural design, the team behind Four Seasons Ocean Club Residences in the Bahamas, while Tihany Design, under the direction of Principal Alessia Genova, is overseeing the interiors. Tihany Design is the acclaimed studio behind destinations including Per Se in New York, The Beverly Hills Hotel and The Breakers Palm Beach.
The building’s exterior will incorporate articulated masonry, refined metalwork, natural stone and expansive glazing. According to the development team, the layered facade is designed to respond to Denver’s changing light while framing city views. Interior finishes will emphasize warm materials, craftsmanship and detailed design elements.
“Cherry Creek has a character all its own: sophisticated, walkable and distinctly Denver,” said Phil Braunstein, managing principal of Wexford Real Estate Investors. “Our vision is to create a residential experience that feels deeply connected to the neighborhood’s identity while setting a new standard for service and design.”
Unlike Four Seasons’ residences associated with hotels and resorts, the Cherry Creek development will operate as a standalone residential property. Residents will have access to a dedicated residential team led by a director of residences. Planned services include 24-hour concierge assistance, housekeeping, in-residence dining and valet service.
Amenities will include a spa with steam, sauna, cold plunge, hydrotherapy and treatment rooms, an outdoor pool and sun deck, a club lounge with a bar and fireplace, a garden-view library and a private dining room. The rooftop amenity level will serve as a private retreat above the city, with spaces for leisure and entertaining.
“Four Seasons standalone residences allow us to serve homeowners in the places they want to build their lives, and Cherry Creek is a perfect example of that,” said Chris Meredith, group head of residential at Four Seasons. “As we expand in Denver, we look forward to partnering with Wexford, Stillwater, Zabel Investment and Brue Baukol to bring a new lifestyle experience to Cherry Creek.”
Douglas Elliman Development Marketing will lead sales and marketing for the property.
Timing for construction and completion, as well as project costs and unit pricing, are not available at this time.
The Four Seasons project joins a growing wave of luxury branded residential developments in Cherry Creek. Waldorf Astoria is also planning a high-end residential development in the neighborhood, bringing another globally recognized hospitality brand to Denver’s luxury housing market.
