Howell Construction, in conjunction with DLH Architecture, recently completed Littleton Public Schools’ District Stadium project located at Littleton High School.

The stadium is shared with all LPS schools and is used by Littleton High School for athletics, PE class and band. In addition, numerous youth sports leagues in the community also use the stadium.

Howell renovated the much-needed 200,000-square-foot stadium for staff, students and the community to enjoy. The project began with demolition of the existing storage sheds, track, field, and portions of the existing bleacher system. Following demolition, the team provided grading for a new ADA access ramp, brand new state-of-the-art synthetic track, new turf playing field, pole vaulting, shot put and long jump areas, lighting, a new storage building, and a new scoreboard. Avoiding disruptions to the school’s daily activities was crucial to the success of the project.

“This stadium is situated in a fantastic location near Big Dry Creek. What an amazing upgrade to the aging field and track surfaces. I can’t wait for football season to begin,” said Jeremy Kellogg, Howell poject manager.
