Metro Denver Area Unemployment Rate Drops with Construction as Fasting Growing Sector in the State

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment released its latest data indicating that unemployment in the metro Denver area is at 2.9% for September 2016, down from 3.2%. Construction added 2,700 jobs in September and reflects a 19% rate of growth over the year, making it the fastest growing sector in the State.
