Cushing Terrell, a national multidisciplinary architecture, design, planning, and engineering firm embedded in the American West since 1938, has officially moved into its new regional headquarters at 1700 Broadway in Upper Downtown.
1700 is part of Denver’s new downtown campus, The Atrium. The campus has unparalleled access to the city’s best restaurants, art museums, and transit.
Boasting mountain views and Denver-inspired design touches, the new 6,961-square-foot space prioritizes connectivity and collaboration for its growing team. Central to Cushing Terrell’s ethos as they were selecting and designing their office was a commitment to unlocking transformative opportunities and identifying holistic solutions for clients across diverse sectors.
The newly renovated space artfully balances professionalism and whimsy, designed to signal and celebrate the type of work environment the Denver-based multidisciplinary design team has come to be known for. It brilliantly balances professionalism and whimsy – a signature 3D mural (designed by a Cushing Terrell Denver team member) greets visitors upon entry, tying in brand colors and iconography, paying homage to Denver landmarks and incorporating easter eggs personal to staff.
The team at Cushing Terrell notes that the move isn’t just about bringing their team together in a beautiful new space — it’s about committing to the downtown Denver community and contributing meaningfully to its future.
