As a full-service general contractor that believes a space should be an extension of a company, i2 Construction held itself to that standard with its own office. i2 wanted to create a space that was fun and memorable, in line with its company culture. The clean, industrial aesthetic creates a modern vibe with all the comforts of home. The 23-foot-tall ceilings provide a dramatic backdrop to a space that’s inviting, accommodates small and large team meetings, and makes coming into the office an enjoyable experience to support its “People First” culture.
i2 Construction chose Kestrel Design Group, a full-service Denver-based architectural and interior design firm, to provide architecture, interior design, custom graphics and branding, as well as furniture design.
The resulting design reflects i2’s brand, not only with color and texture but with the energy and vibrancy of their team members. A key factor of the overall design was to highlight construction materials as finished product rather than only as a necessity.
The 12,200-square-foot, dog-friendly office features amenities such as a Golden Tee machine and full gym and games area that support an atmosphere where hardworking team members can enjoy downtime. The stunning kitchen and break area promote camaraderie by providing a comfortable environment in which to dine, relax and collaborate.
