Modera LoHi, a project that for months starkly contracted the Lower Highlands neighborhood as a giant excavated hole behind Ale House, is now rapidly going vertical. Drivers on I-25 can now witness the progression of the project on their daily commutes, a pleasant distraction from Denver rush hour traffic. The team, led by Alliance Construction Solutions, is currently finalizing the second elevator core, which is expected to be completed this week. The first stair core has been hung, structural steel is ongoing, and MEPs have begun work in the underground parking garage.  Wood framing is also going strong, with the team expected to begin framing the 3rd floor in about 2 weeks.

Once completed, the Modera LoHi project will provide 132 apartment units in the Lower Highlands. A podium plus four design, the 191,592 SF complex will provide underground parking to residents, as well as other amenities including a lounge, fitness center, an outdoor deck, pool deck, and a rooftop deck with incredible views of Denver’s skyline.

Modera LoHi is being developed by Mill Creek Residential Trust. Alliance Construction Solutions serves as the general contractor on the project, with Shears Adkins Rockmore leading the design. The project is located at 2525 16th St, and is expected to be completed in June 2020.
