Norris Design Promotes Staff in Denver
Norris Design, a national planning, landscape architecture and branding firm, has announced the promotion of Emily Cox and Ryan Schatzman to senior associate in the Denver office.
Emily joined Norris Design in 2015 and manages the marketing team’s daily efforts, overseeing marketing deliverables, award submissions and client-facing collateral for all eight offices throughout the firm. As the curator of Norris Design’s firm identity and outward-facing brand, Emily has focused on presenting the firm’s growing reputation over the last five years. Emily is also the current secretary for the Colorado Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) where she has served on the board since 2017 and was named the 2018 Member of the Year. Emily’s experience prior to Norris Design includes work in media, human resources and public relations.
Ryan has been with Norris Design since 2019 and is part of our branding team. Ryan has a background in branding for consumer-packaged goods and now helps inform brand identity on projects for our clients in the built environment, specializing in mixed-use commercial and residential, parks and recreation, master-planned communities and municipal level branding.
Ryan’s current projects include Miller’s Landing, High Point, Buckley Yard, Aurora Crossroads, Jefferson County Open Space Greenprint 2025, Jefferson County Trails Plan, Cobblestone Ranch Park and the City of Sanger, Texas Comprehensive Plan.
