Howell Construction Adds Mark Valdez
Howell Construction announced the recent addition of a key member to their team. Mark Valdez joins the company as a senior accountant. After completing his bachelor of business administration at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, Mark embarked on an accounting career featuring work at several AEC industry firms. His experience includes work for regional and national construction, development, and property management firms. At Howell, Mark will help increase the sophistication of our construction accounting processes.

CENSEO AV + Acoustics Adds to Denver Staff
CENSEO AV + Acoustics (CENSEO) announced the addition of Estrella Ross, CTS-D, as a project engineer in its Denver office. Estrella is a designer and project manager with more than five years of experience and is currently supporting several of CENSEO’s projects including the future Battle Staff Training Facility at the recently opened Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz in Guam, and the Meyer’s Pool Aquatic Facility in Arvada. She has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Encore Electric Announces Andy Sizemore as Director of Southern Colorado Business Unit
Encore Electric announced Andy Sizemore has been named director of Southern Colorado. He succeeds JR Bond, who has recently been named vice president of business units.
As Director of the Southern Colorado Business Unit, Sizemore will oversee Southern Colorado construction and service projects and be directly responsible for the sustainable growth of Encore Electric business in the Southern Colorado market.
“Andy has done a great job working with the Southern Colorado team over the last eight years”, said JR Bond, vice president of business units. “He is highly motivated to support the legacy of Encore Electric and understands the relationship side of the business. His many years of experience and attention to detail have been a big part of our success in continuing the customer experience on highly technical projects. I’m looking forward to working with Andy in his new role.”
Through his 21-year career with Encore Electric, Sizemore has held a variety of positions, from starting as a first-year electrical apprentice all the way up to a variety of leadership roles with the organization. Most recently, he served as senior project manager where he was responsible for establishing relationships with general contractors, trade partners, and owners to ensure project success by providing comprehensive services including constructability and design reviews, budget support, subcontractor management, and scheduling from breaking ground to final project delivery.
Sizemore has contributed to many award-winning project teams during his time with Encore Electric, including the University of Colorado Springs Ent Center for the Arts, several UCHealth and Centura projects across the Rocky Mountain region, and the United States Air Force Academy as well as Ft. Carson. His hands-on experience and extensive knowledge of the Southern Colorado market has set him up to lead this team to continued success.
