DMCAR Installs 2019-20 Board of Directors; Pinnacle’s Paul Schneider to Serve as President
Paul Schneider, a principal with Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, has been installed as president of the Denver Metro Commercial Association of REALTORS ® (DMCAR). Schneider will serve a one-year term leading the association which represents approximately 2,000 commercial brokers in the Denver metro area.
For the past 13 years, Schneider has worked with a diverse range of buyers, sellers, and financial intermediaries on all levels ranging from local owner-operators to institutional investors. Tapping into his unique ability to underwrite a transaction coupled with his passion for sales and marketing, Schneider has become of Denver’s leading commercial real estate producers. Prior to joining Pinnacle in 2006, Schneider held positions with two of the nation’s leading financial advisory firms.

CBRE Promotes Laura Kucharczyk to Managing Director of Project Management in Colorado
CBRE has promoted Laura Kucharczyk to managing director of Project Management in Colorado. In this role, Ms. Kucharczyk will manage all facets of the Project Management business for CBRE’s five offices in Colorado, from business development to executive oversight on projects and team growth and development. She will lead a team of project management professionals and oversee assignments ranging from tenant improvement to build-to-suit and commercial interior design.
“Laura has been a valuable part of our project management group over the last couple years. She has extensive experience in the industry and is well known for her collaborative approach that brings out the best in her team and leads to exceptional client results,” said Pete Schippits, Senior Managing Director for CBRE’s Mountain States region.
Ms. Kucharczyk brings 22 years of experience in design, construction and real estate. In her previous role as a Senior Director with CBRE, she led project management services for a Fortune 100 healthcare services company, which consisted of 7.5 million square feet across 275 leases. Before joining CBRE, she was a senior vice president with JLL’s project management group. A licensed architect, Laura began her commercial real estate career with BURKETTDESIGN, Inc. (now EAU), first as a project architect and then as a director and project manager.
“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to lead this team of talented, high-functioning professionals at CBRE. I’m looking forward to helping foster our team’s growth so we can continue to deliver the best outcomes for our clients,” said Ms. Kucharczyk.
After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Ms. Kucharczyk received a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is also LEED AP BD+C certified. She is based in CBRE’s downtown Denver office.
Pinkard Construction Expands Virtual Design/Construction Services with Virtual Design Manager Addition
Pinkard Construction has promoted Sarah Williams to virtual design manager, expanding the company’s virtual construction/design integration and pre-construction services. Williams’ new position marks another step in Pinkard’s commitment to using technology to provide more comprehensive construction services to clients.
“Sarah has been vital to our team and greatly expanded our ability to integrate the latest technologies into our construction services,” said Mark Bokhoven, director of pre-construction. “I am excited to see how this new role will allow her to guide our team to new and innovative solutions to some of the toughest issues we face day-to-day.”
Williams joined Pinkard in 2015 as a project engineer after working in various architecture positions. In her previous role at Pinkard, Williams was influential in developing Pinkard’s virtual construction abilities through Revit®, Navisworks and Assemble.
“I am very excited to be expanding my role here at Pinkard. There are countless opportunities to use technology to streamline our processes and add value for our clients,” Williams said. “Pinkard is always innovating and looking toward the future, and I am excited to be a part of that.”
In her new role, she will further develop Pinkard’s virtual design capabilities through the integration of new technologies that will truly put the client in the driver’s seat. In addition to the virtual design portion of her work, she will continue to be an integral part of preconstruction and operations teams.
Williams holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. She will remain based at Pinkard’s corporate headquarters in Lakewood.
Atlas Real Estate Continues Rapid Growth With New Property Management Hires
Atlas Real Estate, a full-service realty group specializing in real estate investments, brokerage
and property management in Colorado and Arizona, has grown its property management division with new hires in Denver, Colorado Springs and Phoenix.
Atlas recently expanded its property management business to Arizona, merging with Valley of the Sun Real Estate & Property Management.

Atlas has surpassed 3,150 units under management in Colorado and Arizona. Nearly 100 percent of the firm’s units have been collected and occupied. A standard single-family residents’ lease has averaged five years with 82 percent of leases being renewed and an average of 10 turn time (days) between residents. Atlas has been rapidly expanding its property management team in order to match its growing demands.
