New Energy Efficiency Rules in Place for Denver’s Commercial Buildings

The Denver City Council passed new regulations regarding energy efficiency for Denver’s commercial buildings before adjourning for the holidays. Starting in 2017, owners of buildings 25,000 SF or larger will need to determine the Energy Star score of their buildings using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager tool.
