Pre-sales began today for Prelude at TAVA Waters, Koelbel and Company‘s new townhome community on the site of TAVA Waters, formerly the iconic Breakers Resort Property. Koelbel and Company purchased the Breakers Resort Property more than 30 years ago — ultimately selling it for $350 Million in 2016 to Pensam Residential in a landmark sale that was the largest real estate transaction in Denver’s history at the time. Koelbel remained involved in the project once it became TAVA Waters, and now, Prelude at TAVA Waters will mark the final chapter of this long-standing Denver development and is set to begin vertical construction later this month.
“Koelbel and Company has always prided itself on a long-term vision of legacy communities that add to and enhance the fabric of where we live,” said Koelbel and Company President, Walter A. ‘Buz’ Koelbel, Jr. “The launch of Prelude at TAVA Waters continues our over three decades of involvement in this iconic property and will ultimately complete the historic evolution of the project.”
Prelude at TAVA Waters will feature three distinct floorplans ranging in size from 1,200 to 2,100 square feet, and offering two and three bedrooms – some with much sought after main floor masters, attached garages, rooftop decks, and optional flex-space. Pricing starts at $465,000. Plans are easily configurable and feature large roof decks, optional flex-space, fireplace and bar that make a great entertainment space. Prelude at TAVA Waters will be comprised of 86 townhomes that encompass the amenity rich lifestyle. In addition, these modern townhomes offer close proximity to Cherry Creek North and Lowry retail areas.
“We are extremely proud to see how TAVA Waters has evolved and to see these new townhomes take shape in the highly unique community,” said Koelbel.
Koelbel started their residential for sale offerings on the Breakers property with the Villas at Lighthouse – which sits across from the new Prelude site. They continued their lifestyle product offering with 190 townhomes at Pelican Pointe – just to the north of Prelude. Both communities sold out in record time.
