Proposed Amazon HQ2 Site in Lone Tree Seeks New Buyer
A 146-acre site in Lone Tree that was reportedly submitted to the Denver Metro Economic Development Corp. as a possible location for Amazon’s HQ2, is now being marketed to other companies.
According to Economic Development Director for the City of Lone Tree, Jeff Holwell, Lone Tree City Center, which is a part of the RidgeGate development is ready for prime-time development and the owner of the site is now “actively pitching” it to other companies.
The land was annexed into Lone Tree in 2000 and is anchored by the future Lone Tree City Center RTD rail station, set to open in the spring of 2019.
