Denver, CO – RNL has completed design work on Coda, an up-scale commercial mixed-use multi-family development, located at First Avenue and Steele Street in the Cherry Creek neighborhood. Coda’s sustainable, luxury apartments are now available for lease.
“With Coda, we were able to showcase our approach to integrated sustainable design and the best of the Cherry Creek lifestyle,” said Cindy Harvey, associate principal at RNL. “This mixed-use community is designed to merge wellness and building performance with a luxury experience, deserving of its location within the Cherry Creek retail district.”
Developed by Zocalo Community Development, the project totals 280,000 square feet and includes 182 apartment units. The 12-story building is designed to meet LEED Gold standards, featuring locally sourced materials including quartz counter tops, Energy Star rated appliances, dual-flush toilets and low VOC paints. Coda will offer studios, one- and two-bedroom units along with 223 parking spaces.
“Coda exemplifies how sustainable and luxury living can go hand-in-hand,” said David Zucker, president of Zocalo Development. “The walkability and bikeability of Coda, in the very heart of exclusive Cherry Creek North ensures we’re taking care of our environment in addition to our residents. You won’t find another place that combines both like Coda.”
Residents will have access to amenities that support an active lifestyle, including a community lounge with a chef’s kitchen and outdoor grills, a health and wellness center with a meditation and yoga area, a Velo room for tuning outdoor equipment and a year-round rooftop pool and sun deck with unparalleled panoramic views of downtown and the front range. Set to open this spring, residents will be able to walk downstairs for fine dining at Kitchen Restaurant-founders Hugo Matheson’s and Kimbal Musk’s newest restaurant.
