Denver, CO – RNL has completed design work on Rangeview V, a new 120,000-square-foot office building, in partnership with Colorado-based developer McWHINNEY in Loveland, Colorado. The building’s steel frame topped out in October, and it is on schedule for completion in June 2017. The project is an expansion of the Rangeview Office Campus, a series of three- and four-story, multi-tenant office buildings in the Centerra development. Brinkman Partners is serving as the contractor on this project.

“As a multidisciplinary firm, we were not only concerned with the built environment, but also how the buildings would interact with and respect the surrounding landscape,” said Alexander Thorne, Senior Associate at RNL. “To take full advantage of the lakeside location and create a stronger connection between tenants and their environment, RNL’s landscape design team integrated an outdoor plaza between Rangeview IV and V.”

RNL’s design for Rangeview V was inspired by the idea of transition. While the east side of the building nods to the traditional style of the previous Rangeview buildings on campus, the west side features new, sleek exterior metal-clad forms with expansive views to transition toward the future development of a town center.

“From the energy-efficient building design, which uses ample natural light, to the spectacular mountain views and adjacent trail system, this campus was created to promote employee productivity and well-being, while also making sure we’re taking care of our environment,” said Ashley Stiles, Vice President of Development-Northern Colorado at McWHINNEY.

“This project is a testament to the lasting client relationships we strive to cultivate at RNL,” Thome added. “We are proud to have worked with McWHINNEY on the master planning for the Centerra Development over the last several years. We look forward to continuing that relationship and helping shape the office environment in Northern Colorado for a new generation of office tenants.”
