Saunders Construction has proudly announced the release of its 14th consecutive annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report. This milestone reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. This past year was one of demanding growth and through continuous adaptation, Saunders leads the Colorado construction market in delivering outstanding experiences.
The 2023 CSR Report highlights Saunders’ achievements in several key areas, including economic innovation, environmental sustainability and social impact. Notable accomplishments from this year’s report include:
- Economic Innovation: Saunders achieved record revenue of $713 million with continued expansion into new and existing markets in northern Colorado, Wyoming, southern Colorado, and the mountains, and launched a new business unit, Saunders Concrete Structures.
- Environmental Sustainability: Saunders continued to measure and reduce its impact, including completing the environmental clean-up on its first project under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund program – the Fox Park Redevelopment.
- Social Impact: Saunders prioritized mental health for all employees by starting a program that promotes maintaining employee’s mental health at the same level as their physical health. Saunders also expanded learning and development opportunities, partnered with nine local non-profits through the Building Confidence in Kids program, and achieved the best safety record in over 20 years.
