The Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Colorado Chapter hosted their annual Marketing Excellence Awards event on Thursday, May 20 at Asterisk in downtown Denver.
A celebration of the outstanding achievements of Colorado’s top A/E/C firms and professionals, the event was emceed by Josh Miles, author of Bold Brand 2.0 and host of podcasts Obsessed Show and PSM Show. More than 40 entries and nominations were received in 23 award categories and four professional award categories.
Michele Raftery, CPSM, principal at 4240 Architecture, was awarded the Leonardo Award, which is the most prestigious recognition by SMPS Colorado.
Professional award winners include:
- Marketer of the Year: Valerie Jackson, senior marketing manager & business development manager at RTA Architects
- Business Developer of the Year: John Moore, senior vice president, regional director of business development at JE Dunn Construction
- Member of the Year: Marika Bacon, assistant marketing manager at FCI Constructors
