SMPS Colorado Snags Striving for Excellence Award

The Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Colorado Chapter received the 2019 Striving for Excellence (SFE) Outstanding Award for an Extra Large Chapter at the national SMPS Build Business conference earlier this month which boasted nearly 1,000 attendees.

The SMPS SFE Awards recognize those chapters who significantly advance and enhance professional services marketing and business development through excellent programs, strong leadership, increased membership, quality communications, and strong financial health.

Several members of the SMPS Colorado Board and Chapter were in attendance to accept the SFE Award, including the Chapter’s 2018-2019 president, Michelle Ott, CPSM of JE Dunn Construction, and president elect, Nicole Fatchaline, CPSM of The Beck Group.

“It’s a great time to be an SMPS Colorado member!” Ott said. “The strength of our chapter and the high quality of our programming are the direct result of our expansive membership base and the exceptional leadership of our board members. I am humbled to be part of this thriving chapter.”
