TAG Restaurant Group, helmed by Denver restaurateur Chef Troy Guard, is on a mission to raise funds to help the communities affected by the devastating January Marshall Fires with a fundraising program benefiting Boulder Community Foundation.

The group aims to raise $50,000 in the next 30 days, with a goal of matching $25,000 in guest donations with donations from TAG Restaurant Group’s own staff of 400.

Said Guard in a letter to his team, “At a time when family, friends, and friends of friends are dealing with the catastrophic loss of their homes, belongings, and precious memories, […] we realize it could have been any of our homes or neighborhoods which that fire destroyed and how fortunate we are that it wasn’t. What can we do with that fortune, and how do we help our friends and neighbors and share some love when it’s needed most?”

All TAG Restaurant Group properties have added a special check line item, giving patrons the opportunity to help victims of the fire on top of any bill for dine-in or carry out.

Grange Hall will help the cause through various donations – including $1 from every beer sold – and the group is excited to announce their Los Chingones Celebrity Chef Taco Series, with proceeds from the first Taco benefitting the cause.

TAG Restaurant Group hopes to reach its fundraising target within the next 30 days. Please join them in supporting this incredible plan by donating directly or whenever dining at any of the TAG restaurants.

The group is also encouraging staff and guests to support this community by registering to volunteer with Spark The Change.
