Denver, CO – Unico Properties LLC recently announced the grand opening of the newly modernized DC Building (DC) in the CBD submarket. The DC grand opening broker event was held December 1, 2016, to showcase the one-and-only tenant bowling alley in Denver. Attendees received a personalized bowling ball with the DC building logo and matching bowling bag.

unico-and-cw-teams“We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response following the modernization of this boutique office property, which offers tenants truly unique amenities in a sought-after CBD location,” said Austin Kane, Unico Properties Vice President and Regional Director of Colorado and Texas. “Amid the numerous improvements, notably the tenant bowling alley and bike storage area equipped with a bike vending machine are attracting a vibrant tenancy that will continue to flourish in this dynamic market.”

Designed by Interior Architects, the industrial lux, speakeasy style bowling alley and lounge incorporates original 1954 design elements through the repurpose of the emerald marble for the face of the bar, as well as the large solid wood custom carved entry door from a seventh floor suite. The bowling alley boasts a Brunswick quick-set string-pin system with touch screen technical scoring system and digital displays.

“Unico’s investment in this historic building offers unparalleled office space in the Denver market,” said Ryan Stout, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. “The renovation team structured by Unico has redefined what is possible in a traditional office setting, and we are seeing remarkable interest from the market ranging from the 1,000 square foot spec suites to the full floor opportunities in the building.”

The bicycle storage room is fully equipped with 24 bike storage spaces, and rises above the rest by offering a Bike Fixtation vending machine and a bike stand offering tenants work space and tools available on-site for any necessary repair needs.

Designed by Gensler, the modern, elegant lobby features custom walnut paneling, travertine stone flooring, polished white Italian marble wall covering, back painted glass and mid-century modern style furniture furnished by Officescapes. A full conference and training facility will be completed on the second floor in February, 2017. Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the renovation project.
