TruFusion, a unique group fitness concept, will open its second Colorado location in Koelbel and Company’s Watershed development, a visionary commercial building in Denver’s RiNo. TruFusion will occupy approximately 10,000 square feet of the main floor of the building, including three studios and full-service locker rooms. The ground breaking for Watershed is scheduled for Spring 2020 with tentative opening scheduled for Q1 2022.

Among the few elite developments in the country to have WELL Certification, the culture of Watershed’s tenants will embrace wellness as part of their daily lives, making TruFusion a perfect first tenant.

“TruFusion is the perfect retail amenity to kick off the Watershed development,” said Mark Lucas, vice president of Koelbel and Company. “It will offer the ideal fitness offering to the 1400+ employees that will occupy Watershed starting in early 2022, and the existing Catalyst office building. The companies who are the best fit for Watershed are eager for this type of amenity and we couldn’t be more pleased to announce that Colorado’s most innovative fitness studio will be coming to RiNo and Watershed.”

Watershed will rise nine levels above Brighton Boulevard, offering 180,000 square feet of office and retail space overlooking the South Platte River and the Rocky Mountains. At fully leased, Watershed will be home to two to three large anchor caliber office tenants.

TruFusion is a rapidly expanding franchise chain based in Las Vegas — and will open its first Colorado location at 9th and Colorado in the Spring of 2020. It is a group fitness concept that offers more than 200 unique workout classes per week including barre, cycling, battle ropes, yoga, Pilates, kettlebell, and more. Alex Rodriguez is a major investor and equity partner alongside co-founders Mike Borden, Martin Hinton and President/COO Jonathan Fornaci.

“TruFusion is a perfect fit for fresh innovative development concepts like Watershed.” said Brett Cortese, owner of TruFusion, Colorado. “Our many future members will enjoy kombucha from self-serve taps in the common areas and come together with smart dedicated community members before and after their workout.

The Watershed complex represents Phase II for Koelbel and Company’s master planned development totaling 360,000 square feet with more than 30,000 square feet of retail and food offerings.
