The Denver Architecture Foundation (DAF) and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) have announced the winners of the 3rd annual Doors Open Denver Photography Competition, “Y/OUR Denver.”

The competition asked photographers of all skill levels to find and photograph their favorite areas of Denver, focusing on Denver’s vast and unique architecture. The call allowed for all forms of architectural imagery – black and white, color, exterior, interiors and detail images. The competition began Sept. 25 and ended Oct. 29.

“While this was a different kind of year for Doors Open Denver, with the event experienced through three weeks of virtual Insider Tours, the ‘Y/OUR Denver’ photo competition gave the public an opportunity to safely get out and explore Denver architecture through photography,” said Pauline Herrera, executive director of the Denver Architecture Foundation. “In a time when we are practicing safe social distancing and finding ourselves at home more than usual, our community can enjoy the beauty of Denver remotely through the ‘Y/OUR Denver’ digital exhibition.”
