In response to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) through Colorado, and the subsequent closure of bars and restaurants, Colorado non-profit Friends & Family has partnered with Zeppelin Station and their collection of food concepts to provide free, nutritious meals to newly-unemployed restaurant and bar workers. This project is a twice a week free meal pick-up program for the first 150-people to text 716-262-9834.

How it Works:
Unemployed F&B workers text their order to 716-262-9834 with the following information before 5 p.m. the day prior to pick up:

The first 150 people to text will receive confirmation. Then simply drive up to the front door of Zeppelin Station, where their meals will be brought curbside for delivery. Be prepared to share your order confirmation. There is no need to park your vehicle.

Friends & Family is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing educational programs and events for employees of Colorado’s food & beverage industry. Founded in 2017, Friends & Family is an active group of industry professionals who are engaged in food-based volunteering, health & wellness initiatives and other events that build and strengthen the community of food & beverage industry employees in the state.
Zeppelin Station is home to eight globally inspired food concepts and a coffee shop. Zeppelin Station’s aim is to encourage a deeper conversation to include innovative retailers, emerging culinary concepts, and well-curated beverage programs that extend beyond the normal lunch counter. Concepts at Zeppelin Station include Hamburger Stan, La Dona, La Rola, Budlong, Vinh Xuong Bakery, Dandy Lion, Ya Ye are still open for delivery and curbside pick up from 11am to 6pm daily. Sanitation:
All operating partners recognize the possible severity of furthering the outbreak of COVID-19 within the Colorado community. All possible measures will be taken to ensure proper sanitation of all work surfaces, tools, equipment and food. Social distancing will be observed within the kitchens. Minimal contact is required for drive-by meal pick-up.
