Jessica Ostermick has been named CBRE’s new Colorado market leader. In this role, Ostermick is responsible for overseeing all Advisory Services lines of business in the state, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation, and property management. She will lead CBRE’s five Colorado offices in downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins.
Ostermick brings 20 years of industry experience, including the last 10 spent at CBRE. For the past eight years, she was a partner on CBRE’s market-leading industrial institutional investment sales and leasing team, arranging several of Colorado’s largest industrial property transactions on record. The team was recognized as the NAIOP Colorado Industrial Team of the Year for three consecutive years with nearly 80% market share of capital markets transactions greater than $25 million. Before she moved into brokerage, Ostermick was CBRE’s director of research & analysis for the Colorado region, leading the development of market insights for every major commercial real estate property type in Colorado along with thought leadership efforts for data centers, multifamily and the energy vertical nationally.
Earlier in her career, she was a research economist working with site selectors and development agencies to evaluate the economic impact of transformational projects like RTD’s FasTracks, Stapleton and Fitzsimons. She later led business development for Colorado’s largest architecture firm.
“Jessica’s deep understanding of real estate and economic drivers combined with her capital markets expertise and laser focus on client needs is a critical skillset in today’s environment. She is ardent on Colorado’s growth potential, knows the CBRE platform, and has a vision for how to combine CBRE’s talent, resources and capabilities to drive exceptional client outcomes,” said Pete Schippits, president, West Region, Advisory Services, CBRE.
Ostermick sits on the board of directors for NAIOP Colorado and on the Office & Industrial Product Council for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Colorado chapter. She has been an appointed member of the Revenue Estimating Committee for Colorado governors Polis and Hickenlooper and is a frequently tapped speaker for industry and economic events. She is also involved with the University of Colorado Business Economic Outlook Forum and the Susan Stanton Leadership Academy.
“I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to work alongside and learn from the best in our industry. I am ready for the next chapter and energized about the runway for growth across Colorado,” said Ostermick. “The transformative changes facing our clients are significant, and industry-leading talent, data and resources are more important than ever. Dynamic environments are often the best places to create advantage for our clients.”
Ostermick holds a master’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and completed her undergraduate studies in business economics at Miami University of Ohio.
