Crawford Hotel Named to Tripadvisor’s Best of the Best: Luxury Hotels

The Crawford Premium Classic King

The Crawford Hotel at Denver Union Station is thrilled to be honored as one of the top hotels in the United States in the Tripadvisor 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best: Luxury category—the only Colorado hotel to make the list!

The Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title is awarded to hotels who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions over a 12-month period, celebrating the highest level of excellence in travel. Winners are among the top one percent of the 1.6 million hotel listings on Tripadvisor.

Guests at The Crawford can enjoy the unique experience of sleeping inside the iconic Denver Union Station, which originally opened in 1881 and was revitalized in 2014. The hotel is named for renowned Denver urban preservationist Dana Crawford, who passed away earlier this year.

Inspired by the golden age of train travel, The Crawford completed a luxurious refresh of its 112-guest rooms last year. Designed to embrace the grand architecture of Denver’s landmark train station, each guest room features opulent, custom-made furniture and window treatments in rich jewel tones, with an eclectic mix of locally sourced art and gorgeous floral ceiling coverings. Honored with a Michelin Guide One Key, The Crawford offers an extensive list of guest amenities, from live harp music in the new Parlour lobby space to an in-room cocktail experience from the Cooper Lounge.

“Denver Union Station’s Crawford Hotel is a cool mix of old-school charm and modern luxury. Unique design details and complimentary services make this a memorable stay; there’s even bedtime stories at night,” according to Tripadvisor reviews. “Exploring is easy with public transit right here, so you can check out the city and then return to enjoy the hotel’s lively vibe and great service.”

Denver Union Station is home to several local shops and restaurants by James Beard award-winning chefs, including the acclaimed Mercantile Dining + Provision, created by Chef Alex Seidel, and Ultreia, created by Chef Jennifer Jasinski, and Sip cocktails in the romantic Cooper Lounge or indulge in a sweet treat from the new Baumé, which serves decadent European-inspired patisseries along with a curated Champagne list inside the Great Hall.

“We are thrilled to be the only Colorado hotel recognized with this TripAdvisor award,” said Denver Union Station Area General Manager Ed Blair. “Our team works very hard every day to deliver an elevated guest experience, to share the history of this incredible building and to honor the remarkable life of our namesake Dana Crawford.”
