Denver City Council Approves $1.4M Funds for Building Permit Backlogs

View here

The Department of Community Planning and Development has been inundated with building permits, issuing 75% more building permits than it did in 2009. That number is expected to increase another 8% this summer alone. The Denver City Council approved $1.4M in funding to hopefully provide some relief and the necessary resources to handle the growing backlog of building permits.
