Forte Building Science Team Members Earn Rare WELL AP™ Certification
Denver, CO – FORTE BUILDING SCIENCE, a division of M.E GROUP, is pleased to announce that Marcel Harmon, Pete Jefferson, and Stuart Shell have earned the WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP™) credentialing through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI™), placing them among a group of leading professionals who are dedicated to supporting human health and well-being in the built environment.
The WELL AP™ accreditation is the new, leading credential signifying advanced knowledge of health and well-being in the built environment and specialization in the WELL Building Standard™ (WELL).
WELL APs have successfully passed the WELL AP™ exam, an assessment based on the expertise of leading practitioners in the field of design, health and wellness in the built environment. Developed using Green Business Certification Corporation’s (GBCI) rigorous test development best practices, the WELL AP exam is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge and proficiency in building wellness and the principles, practices and applications of the WELL Building Standard. The WELL AP™ Exam was launched last October and was complemented by a comprehensive educational program.
WELL marries design and construction with evidence-based medical and scientific research – harnessing the built environment as a vehicle to support human health and well-being. Harmon, Jefferson, and Stuart are among the first in the country to attain this certification.
“We are excited that our Forte Building Science division now has three team members at the forefront of WELL Being Standard specialization with this certification. Their knowledge of sustainable design, energy efficiency, and health and well-being in the built environment will enhance our opportunities to create unique and easier solutions to building challenges.” said Nate Maniktala, Forte Building Science/Founder & Principal.
