Helix Architecture + Design, a nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm, has opened an office in Denver’s Golden Triangle District at Shift Coworking Space at 1001 Bannock Street, Suite 212.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Helix is an award-winning design practice with significant expertise in mixed-use and multifamily residential, higher education, corporate office, public libraries, and civic projects. The opportunity to expand to Denver was born out of ongoing partnerships with current clients who commissioned Helix for projects in Denver and surrounding cities.
“Our new office is a commitment to our current clients to continue to provide exceptional design service, rooted in the dynamics of the area,” said Helix Principal and Director of Architecture, Doug Stockman, AIA. “It is also a natural next step for Helix as we broaden our reach and impact more communities.”
For Helix, Denver holds immense appeal as its next home base. Helix seeks to be an active contributor to Denver’s forward-thinking business and neighborhood community, devising solutions to the ongoing challenges associated with a high-growth area. Establishing a location in Denver also offers opportunities to connect to other communities throughout the mountain region. As the region continues to experience exponential growth, Helix offers relevant knowledge and a bevy of talent that can craft bespoke solutions for both public and private clients.
“We are excited to show the Front Range what sets Helix apart,” said Helix President Erika Moody, FIIDA. “Our leadership reflects the significance of our integration of architecture and interior design. We design with authenticity to create human-centered experiences, with the belief that people are at the center of everything we do.”
The new Denver office will be led by Stockman and is actively recruiting to locally support current and future projects. Helix has several projects in development in the Front Range and beyond, including a multifamily project under construction, and four projects on the boards in Denver and Salt Lake City.
