Elsy Studios was approached by CSG International, a global leader in technology, to actualize its vision of creating a headquarters that would embody its commitment to global sustainability, while also creating a welcoming environment for its team. The result is a headquarters that is strikingly bold yet refined, providing an inviting space for executives and employees around the world, including those from Stockholm, Beirut and Dubai.
Drawing from the clean, modern aesthetics of Scandinavian design, Elsy incorporated bold geometric forms and contrasting black and white tones inspired by the art of block printing. Vibrant green plants and subtle textural finishes were introduced throughout to soften the design’s clean-cut foundation.
Through careful planning and programming, Elsy created a luxurious reception area on par with what you’d see at a Four Seasons hotel. Incorporating clean lines and large-format patterns gave the space the refined and sophisticated aesthetic CSG envisioned.
The headquarters needed to meet employees’ requirements for adaptable workspaces to accommodate hybrid schedules and diverse preferences for work styles. Elsy’s solution was to design versatile areas equipped to support both in-person and global collaboration at every level of the organization. Designed to mimic a high-end hospitality space, the collaboration lounge offers adaptable seating for various work needs. Custom movable planters with integrated lighting and power connectivity divide the space, making it suitable for individual work, small meetings, team lunches, and all-hands meetings. The ceiling’s block print design, achieved with custom acoustical baffles made from recycled water bottles, enhances both aesthetics and functionality.
Key focal points of this dynamic office include the board room, described as a ‘building within a building’, which features custom wood veneer siding and black-framed windows. Those same windows provide a view of the uniquely designed living green wall paired with a custom film design, that features an abstract view of the globe in three parts.
From the sleek, sustainable design, adaptable workspaces and thoughtful details, the new CSG headquarters is, at every turn, a direct reflection of the company’s ongoing commitment to its people, society and the environment.
