Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Joseph E. Lubinski has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate, Development & Construction (RDC) industry group. The Denver-based Lubinski has built an impressive and diverse real estate practice, specializing in the area of complex real estate financing. He regularly represents lenders and borrowers in the origination of permanent, construction and mezzanine loans, in addition to assisting clients with the acquisition, development and ultimate disposition of commercial properties.
“Joey is regarded as a top real estate finance lawyer, both regionally and nationally,” commented Carrie Hermeling, the leader of Husch Blackwell’s RDC group. “His ability to provide insightful counsel to institutional lenders and developers across a variety of transactional settings will complement the strong practice we have developed throughout the region as a go-to law firm in complex real estate-related transactions.”
“In a short amount of time here in Denver, Husch Blackwell has established itself as a trusted partner for a variety of clients involved in the real estate industry,” said Lubinski. “I am excited to join such a talented and deep team.”
Lubinski joins the firm from Ballard Spahr, where he was a partner in the Denver office and co-led that firm’s Insurance Company and Institutional Investments team.
