Collegiate Peaks Bank, a division of Glacier Bancorp, plans to open a full-service branch in Fort Collins, subject to regulatory approval, in spring 2026. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the bank’s strategic growth across Northern Colorado and reflects the success of its methodical approach to community banking.
The Fort Collins location originated in the spring of 2023 as a Loan Production Office (LPO), serving as a proof-of-concept for Collegiate Peaks Bank’s model of local decision-making, personalized service, and deep community engagement.
The Fort Collins branch, ideally located at the intersection of Harmony Road and Lemay Avenue, is currently undergoing renovations and will serve a wide range of clients—from individuals and small businesses to municipalities, developers and professionals. Collegiate Peaks Bank collaborated with Surround Architecture and Centerre Construction on a full-service location that will provide the space necessary to expand the Northern Colorado team. This location will also allow Collegiate Peaks Bank to tap into the abundant and talented labor pool required to support the growth of both Collegiate Peaks Bank and Glacier Bancorp.
“Our Fort Collins team, led by Market President David Fritzler, is riding a wave of momentum that reflects the strength of our relationships and the trust we’ve built in this community,” said Liam Girard, president of Collegiate Peaks Bank. “We started with a focused, methodical approach—listening to what local businesses and individuals need—and now we’re ready to start a new chapter with the opening of our new branch at Harmony Road and Lemay Avenue.”
Collegiate Peaks Bank recently surpassed $1 billion in total assets, a milestone that aligns with the broader growth of its parent company, Glacier Bancorp, which operates in 156 communities and is expanding into Texas through its acquisition of Guaranty Bancshares, Inc.
Collegiate Peaks Bank is proud to collaborate with respected local partners throughout Fort Collins and across Colorado to support initiatives that strengthen communities and promote economic growth. The bank’s commitment to impactful development is reflected in the projects it helps bring to life—projects that contribute to vibrant neighborhoods, create jobs, and enhance the quality of life for Coloradans.
“At Collegiate Peaks Bank, putting heart into banking means making local decisions, listening not dictating, and collaborating with our customers,” added Girard. “David and his team have taken that philosophy and run with it. We are a better bank for having a flag in Northern Colorado!”
