Cornerstone Club, a 4,800-acre private club community in Montrose, Colorado, has announced a major expansion led by Reef Capital Partners that will add new amenities, accommodations and recreational offerings while renovating the club’s golf course.

The Matt Dusenberry-designed golf course is scheduled for renovations to be completed in summer 2027. Improvements will include upgraded turfgrass, refined fairways, revitalized bunkers and improved cart paths, along with redesigned signature holes. The 12th hole will become a short par-4, while the 18th hole will be reimagined as a par-5 finishing hole.
A new bar and grill overlooking an expanded putting course also is planned near the 18th green. Additional improvements to the clubhouse campus will include a resort-style pool and hot tub, event lawn and new locker rooms.
Cornerstone also plans to transform its training facilities into a performance center with racquetball and a fitness center. A new spa and thermal village will feature indoor and outdoor thermal pools, treatment cabins, relaxation cabanas and a coffee and juice bar.
The club will add eight overnight cabins to accommodate members and guests. Beginning in winter 2026, Cornerstone Club real estate members will receive exclusive access to Crest Club Telluride, a private alpine retreat at the Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection.
Reef Capital Partners also has partnered with CoralTree Hospitality to oversee hospitality operations. Cornerstone said its broader programming will include hiking, horseback riding, pickleball, tennis, indoor golf simulators and seasonal events.
Memberships are currently available, while a public real estate release is anticipated in 2027.
